From Russia with love
Beverage companies are seeking to slake consumers' thirst for vodka with several premium vodkas including Bacardi Martini Canada's Russian Prince Vodka in frosted-glass style bottles. Another interesting bottle belongs to High Point Group (San Diego, CA) and their Red Army Vodka which retails in bottle shaped like a missile with a gray body and red nosecone. Moving beyond the ordinary vodka is Francis Bonanno's (Springboro, OH) Inferno Pepper Flavored Vodka which has actual chili peppers in the bottle, or Ketel One Citreon from Nolet Spirits USA (Alsio Viejo, CA). And perfect for the Fourth of July is the Salute 2000 Vodka from Salute 2000 Spirits of America (San Jose, CA) which features images of the Statue of Liberty and rockets exploding.
The doctor is in
Along with a slew of other soy-products this past month, there were a number from a man who calls himself Dr.Soy.com. Dr. Babaknia, determined to let the world know about the health benefits of soy, has created a whole line of soy products including: cereal, trail mix, drink mixes, and snack bars under the name Dr.Soy.com out of Irvine, CA. All the products will retail at a website of the same name this summer.
In brief

Now skillets aren't the only thing in the kitchen to enjoy a Sensation from Stouffer Foods (Solon, OH). Oven can get in on the action with the introduction of the company's Oven Sensations line.
LC1 from Nestle USA (Glendale, CA) is the first probiotic supplement from a major label to be introduced in the U.S. although it is well known in Europe.
Another product known in Europe are the new Twist Sweet Spreads imported from Holland by the De Boer Food Importers (Sanford, FL) which feature a visible swirl of spreads inside glass jars.
Cold Fusion? Mere bag o' shells. Cold Fusion (Seattle, WA) has offered the complex physics problem to one and all in the form of its protein-enriched frozen juice bars.
Football fans can find some of their all-time favorites on Golden Pacific Brewery's (Emeryville, CA) Sports Legends Lager, which features the images of 12 Hall of Famers in poses depicting their greatest moments.
