Wine Sales Supercharged

Problem: "Almost one-quarter of wine consumers feeling overwhelmed by the sheer volume of choices on store shelves" as published by Progressive Grocery Study March 11, 2008.

Solution: WINE SHELF - a touch screen shopper package specifically designed to increase in-store sales. Range can be linked to store inventory and / or special orders where permitted. In-store / special order items can be selected from a database of over 20,000 wines.

Benefits to the retailer include higher average sale, more frequent purchase, and more repeat customers through better customer service.

The shopper benefits by greater certainty in their wine purchases and the immediate availability of the service even though store personnel may be busy.

The User Interface is extremely friendly and designed by leaders in the kiosk industry. Users can search by region / winery / food type / grape / price. Content includes high quality images, reviews, serving suggestions, etc. Multiple searches and relationship links are enabled including intelligent quantitative factors for "If you like "x". try "y" or "z". Options such as Wine Purchase Registry, quantity planned, product location, etc are available.

The content database is updated monthly. Daily updates of range file can be carried out through a feed from the store POS file (option). Detailed measurement and tracking are available.

"This software is unique" said Doug Peter, President of St. Clair Interactive. "It is designed by a company with 26 years experience with touch screen kiosks and linked to a knowledge database that has astonishing depth and coverage".

Too many wine efforts have been static. This is an offering that is as dynamic as the wine market itself!
