Bedford Industries, Inc. is a family-owned manufacturing company founded in Worthington, MN in 1966. Our first products were plastic-coated wire twist ties used as closures for bread bags and trash bags. Over the past 30 years, we have expanded into all types of coated wire closures, identification ties and tags, specialized industrial and bundling ties, packaging reclosures, and related machinery.

Bedford prides itself in excellent customer service providing the best products for our customers. Bedford's in-house engineering, electrical, and machine shop departments are responsible for improving present processes as well as the new areas of testing and development. Bedford Graphics, our in-house art department, designs layouts and mockups for printed tags. It has become a service our customers rely on for a variety of specialty products. Our commitment to servicing our customers with timely deliveries is enhanced by our trucking division, Bedford Transportation, which was founded in 1988.

In 1990 Bedford expanded into the floral and craft markets with Bedford Bendable Ribbon®. Current emphasis is on custom banners and ribbons for the visual display market.

Manufacturing of Bedford Plastic Timbers ® began in 1990 after considerable research in the recycling of Bedford's industrial scrap. The recycled plastic lumber products are manufactured by Bedford Technology®, LLC.

Bedford Technology®, formerly a division of Bedford Industries, designs and produces the reclosable packaging and bundling systems machinery. They introduced and sold their first machines in 1992 to apply tin-tie closures to various bagged products. This division continued to grow, and branched off on its own in 1998.

In addition to being the leading twist tie manufacturer in the Unites States, Bedford is also a major supplier throughout the world. Bedford Industries has two manufacturing locations: Worthington, MN and Sioux Falls, SD.
