Case Study: Coin Dispenser Gives Sandwich Shop Ability To Produce 45 More Subs During Peak Hours

Apparently, the students at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, FL have an appetite for at least two things: knowledge and sandwiches. As typical college students do, the students at Santa Fe take a break from the books and head over to the campus cafeteria for a mid-day, dinner time, or late night snack. This is evident by looking at the volume of submarine sandwiches they scarf up from the SUBWAY® franchise that's been located on campus since August of 2006.

A little over a year ago, the crowds grew to the point that owner Jeff Mohr knew he needed an innovative way to become as quick and efficient as possible. Since another lane was economically and logistically out of the question (the food court where the SUBWAY® is located is only 546 square feet), he had to look elsewhere for a solution.
