Denzer's Food Products

Denzer's Food Products was founded in the spring of 1992, when Jake Slagle of Baltimore, Maryland, brought to market the world's first canned whelk chowder --- Denzer's "Carolina Conch" Chowder. His mission was to introduce people to unusual and exotic foods with which they were not familiar.

That original mission has since expanded. While it continues to focus on unusual foods, Denzer's Food Products is also committed to producing America's highest quality specialty soups as well as America's only line of Southeastern regional specialty soups.

Denzer's products are sold where the value of originality, creativity, and quality ingredients prevail over slotting fees or other concessions for shelf space.

Denzer's soups and chowders are stocked by some of America's finest specialty food stores, natural food stores, department stores, and gift shops along with a few upscale supermarkets. More than 7,000 cans of Denzer's Maryland Style Crab Soup sold recently in a period of six minutes on QVC.
