Baltimore,MD - Travelers in search of a tasty bite, a made-to-order sandwich, or an all-American burger and fries can now satisfy their cravings at the AIRMALL at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall (BWI) Airport. Potbelly Sandwich Works (open from 5 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.) and Wendy's Old-Fashioned Hamburgers have landed at BWI (Concourse C) to provide new dining options to travelers.

"Travelers looking for a meal on the go can enjoy these two new additions to the AIRMALL's new food court in Concourse C," noted Patrick Walsh, Vice President, BAA Maryland.

Potbelly Sandwich Works combines warm, freshly baked rolls with the freshest luncheon meats and tasty toppings for mouth-watering, toasted sandwiches that are sure to please travelers. Founded in an antique shop in Chicago, IL in 1977, Potbelly Sandwich Works began toasting its sandwiches long before its competitors and has remained true to its roots – good food served in an inviting, friendly atmosphere. Travelers may also choose from a variety of thick shakes, malts and sides. Early-morning travelers will appreciate Potbelly's breakfast offerings, including made-to-order sandwiches such as bacon, egg and American cheese on a bagel; or ham, mushroom, egg and Swiss on wheat bread.

Wendy's Old-Fashioned Hamburgers fired up the grills at its new location in the AIRMALL at BWI. Travelers can choose from Wendy's hot and juicy burgers and fries, or a cold, creamy Frosty. Wendy's menu also features deli-fresh Frescata sandwiches and a host of alternate selections, including garden salads and steamy baked potatoes.

"Whether it's a freshly toasted sandwich from Potbelly Sandwich Works or a juicy, all-American burger from Wendy's, BAA Maryland is committed to providing superb dining choices to travelers," noted Walsh.

In addition, the décor in the new food court in Concourse C celebrates Maryland's rich thoroughbred racing industry and history. Complete with Black-eyed Susans, large murals of the horses crossing the finish line and the outline of the race track in a "triple layered" ceiling, there's a good "bet" travelers will enjoy the food and the atmosphere of this food court.
