Camarillo, CA - Hygiena, a leading manufacturer of hygiene-monitoring systems and rapid contamination systems, announced it has added more functionality to its best-selling SystemSURE rapid ATP-detection system.

"We have listened to our customers, and now the SystemSURE Plus has more memory, improved functionality, and more robust data analysis software," says Steven Nason, Director of Sales and Marketing.

Used in the food and beverage, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, hospitality, and professional cleaning industries, the new handheld system detects the presence of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the universal energy molecule found in all animal, plant, bacteria, yeast, and mold cells.

The palm-sized SystemSURE Plus can detect contamination in 15 seconds and stores up to 2,000 results in up to 251 programmable locations for large facilities with many critical control points. The unit operates on just two AA batteries.

Also included in the new system is a "fast stats" screen that provides analysis, such as percent of pass/fail locations, without the need for a computer. Information stored can provide evidence of due diligence and trend analysis.

"All the new features are designed to offer a faster, more accessible system that allows users to keep surfaces cleaner and alerts them to any potential health hazards," says Nason.

Its products are made under strict Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Regulations promulgated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to ensure quality and reliability.
