LaSalle Brands Corporation Announces Major Expansion Of Super Premium Ice Cream Distribution Beyond New York To Mid-Atlantic And Midwest States

New York, NY - LaSalle Brands Corporation announced recently a major expansion of distribution of its best-selling packaged super premium ice creams as well as the launch of a new line of super premium ice cream novelty products.

Currently distributed only to super markets, grocery and convenience stores in New York, LaSalle ice creams are the city's third best-selling brand. The distribution expansion is slated to place LaSalle's 17 ice cream flavors in groceries and convenience stores throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania and the Great Chicago market early this summer.

Additional expansion is planned to make LaSalle ice creams available to consumers in Connecticut, Ohio, Maryland, Virginia, North and South Carolina before the end of the third quarter.

"We are very excited to be bringing the special taste experience and value of La Salle ice creams that New Yorkers have come to know and love to consumers in other areas of the country," Tony Mohamed, CEO of LaSalle Brands Corporation, said.

LaSalle's all natural ice creams have built success with New York consumers by providing a high quality taste experience at a price that is well below competing brands such as Haagen-Dazs and Ben & Jerry's.

In addition to its packaged products, LaSalle is also introducing a line of super premium ice cream novelty products. The four-ounce novelties will follow the LaSalle taste/value formula. The price to the consumer is expected to be 99 cents, well below competing products. Flavors include Cookies and Cream, Strawberry Shortcake and Orange Sorbet/Vanilla.

The LaSalle Brands dream was born in 1972 with the goal to bring the consumer a super premium all natural ice cream at an affordable price and pledge to create a delicious dairy desert using only the finest ingredients available.
