Veat is a meat substitute that is said to contain more soy protein than tofu and soymilk and has the same texture as a variety of different meats, so it can be used to replace meat in any recipe — from beef to chicken and fish.

The meat substitute is made from texturized soy protein, and like most plant-based foods, contains none of the contaminants found in much of today's meat, poultry, and fish. It is made from all-natural ingredients, and contains no preservatives, artificial coloring, MSG, or any other artificial additives. All of this brand's products are 100% vegetarian and contain no eggs. In addition, a single serving of the meat substitute contains nearly a third of an individual's entire daily need for Omega 3 essential fatty acids.

The brand's Gourmet Bites and Gourmet Nuggets are precooked and packaged frozen. Preparation entails defrosting and then sautéing, grilling, or baking.

These products can be kept in the freezer up to 1 year.
