Revionics Launches New Optimization Services For Retailers
Sacramento, CA - Revionics, Inc. recently announced the launch of three new optimization services for grocery and other fast-moving consumer goods retailers. These new services are designed for retailers who do not presently have price optimization software installed, but are interested in using advanced retail pricing science and demand intelligence to validate the effectiveness of their current pricing environment. The three new services offerings are:
Key Value Item (KVI) Analysis:
A Key Value Item Analysis is used to identify items that a retailer may wish to pay particular attention to, based on the item's volume, price-sensitivity, and pricing. With this service, Revionics is able to provide prioritized lists of both high-sensitive and low-sensitive items. By identifying these key items, the Retailer may act to keep these items priced relative to competitors, and to align a pricing strategy at a Category level.
Store-Zone Cluster Analysis:
A Store-Zone Cluster Analysis is used to recommend new Zoning groups, by creating new Zoning recommendations that follow customer price-sensitivity behavior. With this service, Revionics is able to provide a list that assigns each Store to a specific Zone. Additionally, Revionics is able to provide a Profit or Revenue optimization, giving the retailer insight into expected Return On Investment (ROI) based upon varying the number of zones they choose. Optimization of Store/Zones will allow the retailer to set pricing within each Zone such that they will be able to optimize Profit, Revenue, or Margin targets.
One-Time Price Optimization Analysis:
A Price Optimization Analysis is used to recommend Product pricing within each of the Retailer's Zones in order to optimize goals for Profit, Revenue, or Margin. By leveraging the Revionics Advanced Pricing System (RAPS), the Retailer is able to understand customer behavior scientifically rather than relying solely on "gut feel". Revionics has demonstrated increases in both Profit and Revenue dollars based on aligning Product pricing strategies.
These services may be performed individually, or may be performed together. By utilizing multiple services, the Retailer will be able to realize optimizations at many levels of their Enterprise, thus be better able to meet their goals for Profit, Revenue, and/or Margin dollars.
