Skor Food Group Announces Expanded Production Facilities For Its Manufacturing Division

Toronto,Canada - The Skor Food Group Inc., a rapidly growing, fully vertically integrated food service company announced that it has moved its Skor Culinary manufacturing division into a new expanded production facility in Mississauga, Ontario.

The improved production facility encompasses approx. 40,000 sq. ft. and will allow the division to consolidate all head office including accounting, sales and all manufacturing including cooking and meal assembly into this location.

"The new facility will go a long way to ensure that Skor Culinary Concepts improves both its operating gross margins as well as productivity. Further, it gives SKOR the ability to begin marketing to the fast growing HMR(Home Meal Replacement) business for the retail food industry," said Vince Capobianco, President and CEO. "I am confident in SKOR'S prospects to rapidly grow this division both organically and through additional acquisitions."

SKOR, through its operating divisions Skor Food Service, Skor Culinary Concepts and Skor Cash and Carry is a vertically integrated, full service, mid sized, wholesale food supplier to the food service and retail industries. The products sold include frozen goods, refrigerated products, canned goods, paper and plastic products as well as dry goods including tobacco and confectionary items. SKOR services a wide range of multi location food service establishments, Quick Service Restaurant chains, day care facilities, government institutions, independent food service operators, independent grocery stores as well as vending operators and convenience stores in Ontario.
