Wireless Overfill Protection System

Innovative Sensor Solutions, Ltd.s a new overfill protection system that can be used as an independent alarm system or for redundant protection in conjunction with existing tank gauging systems. It is well suited for meeting state and EPA requirements for secondary overfill protection systems.

The system is wireless, allowing it to be used with installations in remote areas. Models are available for both floating roof and non-floating roof tanks.

The system is equipped with a level switch inside the tank that senses when the tank product reaches a predetermined "above or below" level. The system's transmitter, which in mounted on the tank, then sends a signal to the remotely located receiver, which utilizes output relays to sound an alarm, shut off a pump, close a valve, or activate a telephone auto-dialer or other device.

The receiver is available in four and 16 channel modes, as well as a Serial Version that can monitor hundreds of transmitters. The system's battery has a life of 2 to 3 years and issues an alarm approximately 30 days before it dies.
